Senator Craig Wilcox to Partner with Local Dog Rescue for Barks & Brews Event in Woodstock on August 21

As Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) continues with his Conversations Untapped tour in the 32nd District, he is switching things up on August 21 by partnering with Kishwaukee Brewing and K9s4U Dog Rescue for a laid-back evening of casual conversation, craft brews, and pets available for adoption.

Senator Wilcox’s Barks & Brews
Thursday, August 21
5:30 – 7:00 PM
Kishwaukee Brewing
1900 Dillard Court, Woodstock

“This event grows in popularity every year, because casual conversation and tasty beverages pair beautifully with cuddly four-legged friends,” said Wilcox. “The dogs that will be at the event are looking for new human best friends and a loving home, and I am hoping we can help place several pets with good families.”

K9s4U will have several dogs available for adoption at the event, and those who find a pet they would like to adopt can do a same-day adoption with proper paperwork submitted.

“I have had rescue dogs and have always been an advocate for pet adoptions,” added Wilcox. “I hope we are able to place several dogs through this collaborative event.”

For additional information about this event, please call Senator Wilcox’s office at (815) 455-6330 or email Abby at amccarthy@sgop.ilga.gov.
