State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) invites his constituents from the Village of Cary to join Cary Mayor Mark Kownick and him for a Constituent Services Event that will be held at the Cary Municipal Center on September 23.
Constituent Services Event
Tuesday, September 23
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Cary Municipal Center
755 Georgetown Drive, Cary
“This is a new spin on Traveling Office Hours,” said Wilcox. “In addition to having my constituent services staff on hand to assist people with issues involving state agencies or departments, Mayor Kownick and I are bringing in mobile teams from the IL Tollway and IL Treasurer’s offices to town to provide assistance with key transactions involving those agencies.”
IL Tollway: Visitors can switch out their plastic IPASS transponders for the new sticker technology at no cost and with no disruption to existing IPASS activity. Along with providing this service, the tollway officials can help people with questions they may have about their IPASS account and with ‘Pay by Plate’ issues.
ILTreasurer’s ICASH Division: Attendees can meet one-on-one with counselors, who can assist with searching the state’s ICASH/Unclaimed Property database and receive help filing claims for property or cash that may belong to them.
In addition to the above services, Mayor Kownick will have representatives from his office in attendance to talk with residents about issues and concerns involving the Village of Cary.
“This is a one-stop-shopping kind of event,” added Wilcox. “Those who attend can talk with their local and state leaders about issues that are important to them, and also take care of IPASS and ICASH business. We are hoping for a large turnout at this comprehensive event.”
