State Senators Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) and Don DeWitte (R-St. Charles) are hosting a free Senior Health Fair on Tuesday, October 17 until noon at:
Grand Oaks Recreation Center
1401 W. Route 176
Crystal Lake, IL
(if using GPS input Briarwood & Route 176, and the building is just east of the intersection)
“This annual fair brings dozens of vendors who cater to the needs of seniors under one roof,” said Wilcox. “I would encourage all seniors, family members, and caregivers to attend this free event.”
Flu shots and free health screenings will be available, and those who attend can learn about alternative ways to lead a happier and healthier lifestyle. A variety of local vendors will also be on hand to discuss programs and services that benefit seniors. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
“We expect a large turnout, as we always receive very positive feedback from those who attend our senior fairs,” said DeWitte. “It’s one-stop shopping that is convenient for seniors and those who love them and provide care for them.”
