State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-McHenry) is inviting residents of the 32nd District to enjoy an evening of conversation, community, and canine companionship at his annual Barks & Brews event. Hosted in partnership with Kishwaukee Brewing and K9s4U Dog Rescue, the event offers constituents an informal opportunity to meet with their state senator while supporting a local rescue organization.

“Barks & Brews has become one of my favorite community events because it brings people together in a relaxed setting while helping deserving dogs find loving homes,” said Wilcox. “Whether you stop by to chat about state issues, support a great local business, or meet a four-legged friend looking for a family, I hope you’ll join us for a fun evening.”
Representatives from K9s4U Dog Rescue will be on hand with several dogs available for adoption. Individuals interested in adopting a pet may be able to complete a same-day adoption that evening by submitting the required paperwork.
“Rescue organizations do incredible work caring for animals and connecting them with families who will give them the love they deserve,” Wilcox added. “I’m proud to partner with K9s4U Dog Rescue and Kishwaukee Brewing each year to support that mission while creating another opportunity to connect with the people I represent.”
