Senator Wilcox responds to National Archives’ decision to label U.S. Constitution as “Harmful Content”

In a move that is quite baffling to say the least, the National Archives has labeled our Constitution and other Founding Documents as “Harmful Content.” This includes the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.

I invite all Illinoisans to read this article, which outlines the rationale for the decision: https://thefederalist.com/2021/09/08/national-archives-issues-harmful-content-warning-on-constitution-all-other-founding-documents/

These documents are part of our legacy as a free people, passed down to us by patriots who pledged “their lives, fortunes and sacred honor” in the defense of Liberty.

You can view our Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Bill of Rights on my legislative website at https://senatorwilcox.com/your-american-heritage/.
